Hosting and Netlify edge nodes
This site is served as a static presence through the edge platform of Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Requests are terminated at geographically distributed edge nodes (points of presence), including Europe and, where routing requires it, other regions such as the United States.
Each page request causes the Netlify edge infrastructure to process technical access data, in particular:
- IP address and coarse location (for example country)
- date and time of the request
- requested URL, HTTP method and status code
- volume of data transferred
- referrer and browser/operating-system identifier (user agent)
- TLS/HTTPS connection metadata
These edge logs are used for delivery, operations, abuse and DDoS defence, and fault diagnosis — not for advertising. Netlify may transfer personal data to third countries, notably the USA, under the processor’s contractual safeguards (including standard contractual clauses) and TLS in transit. Logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.
Fonts (Google Fonts)
The browser loads typefaces from Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google may receive your IP address and technical request data. Google LLC is established in the USA. Blocking remote fonts in the browser still leaves the site usable.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form or email us, we process name, company, email address and message solely to answer your enquiry. Form delivery uses FormSubmit to info@vskysystems.com. FormSubmit may process data outside Switzerland. Without these details we cannot handle the request. Data are deleted when the conversation is closed, unless a statutory retention duty applies.
To limit automated abuse, the form uses hidden honeypot fields, a minimum wait time, and a short session limit in your browser’s sessionStorage. That local value does not contain names or addresses.
Cookies
This website does not set non-essential cookies. There are no tracking, marketing or analytics cookies. If such tools are added later, this notice will be updated and — where the DSG or other law requires it — consent will be obtained first.
Your rights
Under the Swiss DSG you may request access, correction, deletion, and handover or transfer of your data, and object to processing unless overriding interests or legal duties apply. Contact the address in the Impressum. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).
